what time does the race begin?

Race time is 8 am. Day-of registration is available from 7:00 to 7:30 AM.

How do I register?

Prior to the event, registrations can be made on the Online Registration page (Note: As of 11/20/2023 online registrations are now closed). Registrations will be accepted on the day of the event from 7:00 to 7:30 AM only. Be sure to arrive early -- the line could be long!

The first 160 early-bird registrants receive a complimentary Turkey Trot t-shirt.

when is the online registration deadline?

Online registration closes on Monday, November 20, 2023 at 11 am. You may still participate in the event by registering prior to the race from 7:00 to 7:30 AM on Thanksgiving morning.

How much is the registration fee?

Advance registration before the event:

Adults: $20
Children 13 & Under: $15

Day-of registration (registering begins one hour before the race time):

Adults: $25
Children 13 & Under: $15

Where do i check-in on race day?

Runners should check-in inside the Merrimack Middle School beginning at 7 am. There will be volunteers and signage pointing you in the right direction! Race begins at 8 am.

Where do i park?

Parking is available on-site at the Merrimack Middle School and nearby Bishop Field. Please follow volunteers and signage for the best parking.

what are the age groupings for medal recipients?

Medals will be awarded for men and women in 1st and 2nd place for the following age groups:

Up to 10 41 to 50

11 to 15 51 to 60

16 to 20 61 to 70

21 to 30 71 and Up

31 to 40

Are strollers allowed on the course?

Yes. Participants are welcome to push strollers.

what does the rotary do with the registration fee?

This year’s Turkey Trot will be using funds raised to purchase Coats for Kids and Other Community Services. The 5K is an opportunity for you to assist us in giving back to our community.
